A set of resources to help me write all kinds of internal communications, using the formats that my company likes to use.
Internal Comms, published by anthropics in the skills repository under Apache-2.0, is a set of guidelines for writing internal communications in a company's preferred formats. The agent identifies the communication type, loads the matching guideline file from its examples folder and follows its instructions for format, tone and content gathering. Guidelines cover 3P updates (Progress, Plans, Problems), company newsletters, FAQ answers and a general file for anything else; if nothing matches, the skill tells the agent to ask for more context.
The 3P guideline, for example, targets executives and teammates with a succinct weekly update, asks for the team name first, and suggests gathering context from Slack, Google Drive, email and calendar where available. Use it for status reports, leadership updates, project updates, newsletters and incident reports. It shapes structure and tone; it does not supply facts, so the quality depends on the sources the agent can read.
Imported into BusinessMCP it becomes a playbook, and the AI business analyst can draft a weekly 3P or leadership update grounded in your workspace analytics, CRM and connected Slack rather than from memory.
What you can do with it
- Write a weekly 3P update for a team from Slack and docs
- Draft a company-wide newsletter in a consistent format
- Answer recurring employee questions in FAQ style
- Summarise an incident for leadership in a short report
Run it on your business data
Imported into BusinessMCP, Internal Comms becomes a playbook your AI business analyst applies to your company knowledge and connected documents.
