BusinessMCP

The ZoomInfo alternative for teams that want warm pipeline, not a bigger list

Identify the companies already on your website, enrich and reach them — from $19/mo, month-to-month — instead of a $15k–$40k/yr contact-database seat.

Price
ZoomInfo: no public list; reported ~$15k/yr (Professional, 3 seats) to $40k+/yr (Elite), median ~$32k, annual only · BusinessMCP $19–$499/mo, month-to-month.
Switching gets you
Warm pipeline from your own traffic — identified companies, enrichment, scoring, CRM and an AI SDR — rather than a database seat you still have to prospect from.
Stay with ZoomInfo if
Your motion is cold outbound at volume and you need ZoomInfo’s contact database, org charts, intent topics and direct dials for arbitrary prospecting — that is a different job from ours.

The full picture

Be clear about what ZoomInfo is: a contact and company database with intent signals, org charts, direct dials and a sales-engagement layer, sold to teams that prospect cold at scale. Website visitor identification (WebSights) is one module inside that. ZoomInfo does not publish list prices — every contract is quoted — but 2026 teardowns built on Vendr’s verified purchases put Professional at roughly $14,995/year for three seats, Advanced at $24,995–$30,000, Elite from $39,995, with a three-seat minimum, extra seats reported at $1,500–$5,000 per user per year, annual-only billing, and a Vendr median contract of $31,875 across 1,313 purchases. Most teams are reported to land at $30k–$60k once seats, credits and intent add-ons are included.

BusinessMCP is not a database export tool, and this page will not pretend otherwise. What it does is the warm half of the job ZoomInfo is often bought for: identify the companies already visiting your site (~20–35% of B2B visits resolve to a company), enrich them from our 34M-company database, score them on real behaviour, keep them in a CRM, and on the Scale plan let an AI SDR research and reach the right people — from $19/month, month-to-month. If your team buys ZoomInfo for WebSights and the follow-up rather than for bulk list building, that is the comparison worth making. For the full enterprise picture see the ABM roundup.

Why teams switch

Warm beats cold on reply rate — and on cost per meeting

A company that visited your pricing page this week is a warmer lead than any database row. BusinessMCP starts from that signal; ZoomInfo starts from a list. Hedged industry figures put warm outreach at ~5–15% replies versus ~1–3% for cold — the same $30k buys very different pipeline.

Seats, credits and an annual contract

ZoomInfo is reported as annual-only with a three-seat minimum, credit bundles that do not roll over, a 60–90 day cancellation window and renewal increases. BusinessMCP is priced by plan with seats at $19/mo each beyond the included count, and every self-serve plan is month-to-month.

The loop, not a module

WebSights identifies; ZoomInfo then hands you to its engagement product or your sequencer. BusinessMCP ships analytics, identification, enrichment, CRM, audiences + CAPI, outreach and booking in one product — and an AI business analyst that can read all of it.

Where BusinessMCP is NOT the right choice

An alternatives page you can trust has to cut both ways. Honestly:

  • BusinessMCP is not a contact database. If your motion is cold outbound at volume — build a 5,000-row list by title and industry, pull direct dials, export to a dialer — ZoomInfo is built for that and we are not.
  • No third-party intent topics, org charts or technographic search across the whole market; our enrichment and lookalike discovery work per targeted account, and our people database (~1.9M) is a fraction of ZoomInfo’s.
  • No calling: email is our only fully automated channel, and LinkedIn steps are assisted. ZoomInfo’s direct dials plus its engagement layer cover phone.
  • We are a younger product than most tools on this page. You get faster iteration and direct founder support, but a smaller integration marketplace than a 10-year-old incumbent.
  • If you only want a raw contact database to export CSVs from, a data vendor is a better fit — BusinessMCP is built around acting on your own website traffic.
  • Email is our only fully automated outreach channel. LinkedIn steps are drafted for you and sent with one click, deliberately — we will not automate your LinkedIn account — so if you want hands-off LinkedIn sequencing, we are not that tool.

Frequently asked questions

How much does ZoomInfo cost?

ZoomInfo does not publish prices. 2026 teardowns built on Vendr’s verified purchases report Professional at roughly $14,995/year for three seats, Advanced at $24,995–$30,000, Elite from $39,995, additional seats at about $1,500–$5,000 per user per year, and a median contract of $31,875. Billing is annual-only with a three-seat minimum, and most teams reportedly spend $30k–$60k once add-ons are included.

Is BusinessMCP a ZoomInfo replacement?

For website visitor identification and the follow-up motion, yes, at a fraction of the cost. For a searchable contact database with direct dials and market-wide intent topics, no — we are not a database export tool, and we say so above. Many teams pair a cheaper data source with BusinessMCP for the warm loop.

How does BusinessMCP identify visiting companies without ZoomInfo’s data?

From our own IP-to-company graph, with no third-party lookup vendor, and enrichment from a 34M-company database. Realistically ~20–35% of B2B visits resolve to a company for any IP-based tool, ZoomInfo WebSights included; the free plan lets you measure it on your own traffic.

What about GDPR?

BusinessMCP’s tracker is cookieless and resolves to company (firmographic) data rather than personal profiles, so company identification runs under legitimate interest; in the EU/UK the tracker’s consent modes let you gate it behind your banner. A contact database of personal data is a different compliance posture — see our GDPR guide before prospecting EU contacts from any database.

Is there a ZoomInfo API, and what does it cost?

Since June 2026 ZoomInfo sells API and MCP access through GTM.AI. Its pricing page (checked 28 September 2026) lists 1,000 data and 1,000 AI credits free, then data credits at about $0.38 each at the $1,000 spend tier — one credit per company, contact or intent record enriched or exported — and AI credits at $0.05, with credits expiring 12 months after they are granted. Existing ZoomInfo customers’ credit allocations carry across; the core platform is still sold on annual contracts.

How does the ZoomInfo API compare with the BusinessMCP Data API?

Per company record, our company_lookup is one credit (1,000 free credits/mo · then $2.00 per 1,000) and is charged only when a company is found, against roughly $0.38 per ZoomInfo data credit; the same key also resolves IP addresses to companies and checks email formats and domains. ZoomInfo’s dataset is far larger and carries contacts, direct dials and intent that we do not have, and our people tools exclude whole regions. If you need those fields, ZoomInfo is the better API; if you need firmographics and IP answers per call without a contract, ours is the cheaper one.

How to migrate

  1. 1

Decide which job you bought ZoomInfo for. If it was list building, keep a data source; if it was WebSights plus follow-up, BusinessMCP covers it.

  2. 2

Check your renewal date and the cancellation-notice window — reported terms are annual with a 60–90 day notice period.

  3. 3

Install the BusinessMCP script now so identification runs during the remaining term; export your ZoomInfo accounts and contacts to CSV and import them into the CRM.

  4. 4

Recreate WebSights alerts as BusinessMCP hot-visitor notifications and point identified accounts at the AI SDR in assisted mode.
