The 6sense alternative for teams without a six-figure ABM budget

Know which accounts are on your site, score them from real behaviour and reach out — from $19/mo, month-to-month, instead of a $50k+ multi-year 6sense contract.

Price
6sense: no public pricing; reported contracts from ~$25k to $130k+/yr (Vendr median ~$55k), typically 2-year terms · BusinessMCP $19–$499/mo, month-to-month.
Switching gets you
First-party intent — which accounts visited what, scored and worked by an AI SDR — with analytics and CRM built in, for roughly 1–5% of a 6sense contract.
Stay with 6sense if
You run a 20+ person revenue team, need third-party intent across the wider web and predictive in-market models, and have the RevOps capacity to operate an enterprise ABM platform.

The full picture

6sense is the reference platform for enterprise account-based marketing: third-party intent across the B2B web, predictive in-market scoring, account identification, and a sales-intelligence layer with data credits and AI. It does not publish prices — 6sense.com/pricing lists three Sales Intelligence bundles and a demo button. Published 2026 teardowns built on Vendr and G2 data put real contracts at roughly $15k–$20k/year for a small Team deployment, $25k–$60k for Growth, and $60k–$100k+ for Enterprise, with a Vendr median around $55,000/year and deals reaching $130k+; most vendors and reviewers report multi-year (typically 2-year) terms, auto-renewal and tight cancellation windows.

That is a defensible price for a large revenue team that uses all of it. Most smaller teams use a fraction: which target accounts visited us, are they showing intent, who do we contact, did outreach start. BusinessMCP does exactly that loop from first-party signals — the highest-precision intent there is — for $19–$499/month, month-to-month: company identification via our own IP graph (~20–35% of B2B visits resolve to a company), enrichment from a 34M-company database, behaviour-based lead scoring, a CRM, and on Scale an AI SDR. For the full three-vendor picture see the enterprise ABM roundup.

Why teams switch

The contract, not just the price

Beyond the $50k+ platform fee, 6sense deals are reported as multi-year commitments with auto-renewal, data-credit overages, 4–8 week implementations, and a RevOps operator to run it — teardowns put total cost at two to three times the platform line. BusinessMCP is self-serve, installs the same day and cancels with a button.

First-party intent beats bought intent for smaller teams

Third-party intent is probabilistic: an account “researching your category” somewhere on the web. A company reading your pricing page twice this week is deterministic, and it is free with your own traffic. BusinessMCP identifies that company, scores the behaviour and hands it to the SDR.

The whole loop in one product

6sense orchestrates around your CRM, your sequencer and your ad platforms. BusinessMCP ships analytics, identification, scoring, CRM, ad audiences + CAPI, outreach and booking together — fewer systems, and an AI business analyst that can read all of them.

Where BusinessMCP is NOT the right choice

An alternatives page you can trust has to cut both ways. Honestly:

  • No third-party intent network: BusinessMCP cannot tell you an account is researching your category on other sites — only what it does on yours, plus enrichment and lookalike discovery. That is 6sense’s core asset and we do not replicate it.
  • No predictive in-market models trained across the B2B web, and no managed ABM display-advertising product — we sync audiences to Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok — and Google Customer Match once our developer token is approved, and you run the campaigns.
  • At enterprise scale — dozens of reps, procurement, SSO, a services team — 6sense’s implementation and support layer is a genuine difference from a self-serve product.
  • We are a younger product than most tools on this page. You get faster iteration and direct founder support, but a smaller integration marketplace than a 10-year-old incumbent.
  • If you only want a raw contact database to export CSVs from, a data vendor is a better fit — BusinessMCP is built around acting on your own website traffic.
  • Email is our only fully automated outreach channel. LinkedIn steps are drafted for you and sent with one click, deliberately — we will not automate your LinkedIn account — so if you want hands-off LinkedIn sequencing, we are not that tool.

Frequently asked questions

What does 6sense actually cost?

6sense publishes no prices. Published 2026 teardowns built on Vendr and G2 data report roughly $15k–$20k/year for small Team deployments, $25k–$60k for Growth, $60k–$100k+ for Enterprise, a Vendr median near $55,000/year and deals above $130k. Multi-year (typically 2-year) terms and auto-renewal are widely reported. Treat every figure as a reported contract, not a list price.

Can a $199/month tool really replace 6sense?

It replaces the part most smaller teams buy it for: knowing which accounts are in-market from their behaviour on your site and acting on it. It does not replace 6sense’s third-party intent network, predictive models or ABM advertising. Be honest about which parts your team would actually use.

How much of my traffic will BusinessMCP identify?

Roughly ~20–35% of B2B visits resolve to a company, for any IP-based vendor including 6sense’s own account identification; the rest arrive from home ISPs, mobile networks and VPNs. Test it on your own traffic — the free plan exists for exactly that.

Does BusinessMCP have intent data?

First-party intent, yes: pages viewed, repeat visits, pricing-page reads, form fills and product milestones, scored per account with the reasons shown. Third-party intent — what an account does on other websites — no. If that is essential, 6sense or Demandbase are the tools.

How to migrate

  1. 1

Check your 6sense term and cancellation-notice window first — reported contracts are multi-year with auto-renewal.

  2. 2

Install the BusinessMCP script during the remaining term so there is no visibility gap; the script coexists with 6sense.

  3. 3

Export your target-account list and import it into the BusinessMCP CRM; identified visits from those domains re-stitch to the records automatically.

  4. 4

Recreate in-market segments as BusinessMCP segments driven by first-party behaviour, and turn on the AI SDR in assisted mode.
