Analyze Stitch projects and synthesize a semantic design system into DESIGN.md files
DESIGN.md is a Google Labs skill (publisher google-labs-code, Apache-2.0) from the Stitch skills collection. It has the agent act as a design-systems lead: analyze a Stitch project and synthesize its visual language into a DESIGN.md file that serves as the source of truth for prompting Stitch to generate new, consistent screens. Using the Stitch MCP server, it discovers the tool prefix, looks up the project and screen, fetches screen metadata, downloads the HTML and optionally the screenshot, and reads the project's design theme. It then extracts the project identity, describes the atmosphere with evocative adjectives, maps the colour palette with roles and hex values, translates geometry and shape into plain language, and describes depth and elevation, writing sections on visual theme, colour roles, typography, component styling and layout principles.
Use it if you design in Google Stitch and want new screens to match an existing design. It requires access to the Stitch MCP server and a Stitch project with at least one screen; without Stitch, it has nothing to analyze.
It is a design-tooling skill for agents connected to Stitch. BusinessMCP can import its instructions as a playbook, but it only works where a Stitch MCP server is connected.
