Financeby anthropics
3/3 audits passApache-2.0
Generate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) with period-over-period comparison and variance analysis.
Financial Statements, published by anthropics in the knowledge-work-plugins finance plugin under Apache-2.0, generates an income statement with period-over-period and budget comparisons and flags material variances. It takes a period type (monthly, quarterly, annual or YTD) and a period, pulls trial balance data from a connected ERP or data warehouse or asks you to paste or upload it, and lays out revenue, cost of revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, operating income and net income in a multi-column format. For each line it computes dollar and percentage variance, basis-point changes for margins, applies materiality thresholds, and decomposes drivers into volume, rate, mix, one-time, timing and currency effects.
The output is the formatted statement, a key-metrics summary, a material-variance table with investigation flags and follow-up questions. It also carries reference formats and GAAP presentation notes (ASC 220, 210 and 230) for the balance sheet and cash flow statement. It is for controllers, FP&A and founders closing the books. The skill states it does not provide financial advice and that statements should be reviewed by qualified professionals.
Inside BusinessMCP it can run as a playbook against revenue from your connected Stripe account or a connected database, with the analyst citing the figures it reads.
