Your endpoint, linked in one command

The mcphosting-cli links Claude Code or Cursor to your hosted MCP endpoint and lets you file and review tasks without leaving the terminal. For driving a full Assistant run, call the runs API directly — see the API reference.

Install

npm install -g mcphosting-cli

Or run any command on demand with npx mcphosting-cli. Once installed, run mcphosting-cli login to authenticate with your Bearer mcph_* key.

Commands

mcphosting-cli login [--key mcph_...] [--url <site>]

Save and verify your Bearer mcph_* key. Prompts if you omit --key, then calls /api/v1/me so a bad key fails immediately rather than on your next command.

Point a client at your hosted MCP endpoint. With "claude" it shells out to the Claude Code CLI and registers the server for you; the others print a paste-ready config. ChatGPT and Claude.ai print the URL ALONE — they sign in over OAuth and have no bearer-token field, so there is no key to paste.

mcphosting-cli run "<question>" [--deep] [--thread <id>] [--json]

Queue a full analyst run against your own business data and print the reply. Same engine as the dashboard Assistant and the MCP endpoint, so the answer is the same answer. --deep raises the tool budget and asks it to verify every number. Add --no-wait to get the thread id straight back, then poll it with run --thread <id> --resume. If a run hits its tool budget mid-investigation the CLI says so instead of printing the partial answer as if it were final.

mcphosting-cli contacts [--stage lead] [--segment <id>] [--json]

Page the read API from the terminal. contacts walks the identity graph, accounts walks your B2B account objects, events walks one row per session. Every one takes --limit and --cursor, and --json prints the raw payload for jq.

mcphosting-cli export <analytics|sessions|contacts> [--range 30d] [--out f.csv]

The same CSV the dashboard exports, scoped by your key’s policy — revenue columns come back blank without the revenue class. Writes to stdout unless you pass --out.

mcphosting-cli track <goal> [--user <id>] [--revenue 49]

Write into the Events API from a script or a cron job: record a server-side conversion, stitch a user id to a contact, or upsert an account. track --file takes a JSON array or NDJSON, up to 500 events a call.

mcphosting-cli tools [search]

What your endpoint actually exposes, from the public catalogue — every tool with its description, whether it writes, and the plan it needs.

Show which workspace and plan the saved key belongs to, and the site it targets.

mcphosting-cli task create <title> | task list

File a task into the dashboard, or list the open ones. Accepts --dept and --message on create.
